Nashik Fire: After a fierce fire in the factory, there was chaos, 11 people were rescued, many people were feared trapped


A massive fire broke out in a factory in Mundegaon, located in the Igatpuri tehsil of Nashik district on the first day of the new year. The fire started in the chemical storage department of Jindal Polyfilm, and it quickly escalated into a gigantic inferno. The incident caused widespread panic, and the local authorities were alerted immediately.

Upon receiving the information, the fire brigade and the police team rushed to the spot to control the fire and begin rescue and relief operations. Eight to ten fire brigade vehicles were deployed to combat the raging flames, which had engulfed the entire factory. The priority of the rescue team was to evacuate the people who were trapped in the fire.

As per the latest reports, 11 people who were trapped in the fire have been safely rescued and admitted to the hospital for treatment. However, around six to seven employees are still feared to be trapped inside the factory. The rescue team is working tirelessly to locate and evacuate them.
